Vertical's structural floors
The floor structure is the horizontal backbone of any multi-storey building — it carries the weight of finishes, furniture and people, transferring it to walls and foundations. At Vertical, prefabricated floors are designed and delivered as a complete system, structurally calculated for your project, not for a generic standard.
We use glued-laminated or solid timber beams, dimensioned to the millimetre according to room spans and design loads. Beam spacing, cross-sections and joint details are verified by structural calculation, and the technical plan shipped with the kit tells the assembly crew exactly where and how each element is installed.
For superior acoustic and thermal insulation, the floor system can be supplemented with additional layers on request. The timber is treated to class III or autoclave standards, and the entire system is covered by the 10-year warranty — so the floor remains stable, quiet and high-performing for decades.
